Setup, once
Install one free app
- On the phone or laptop, install Larix Broadcaster. It is free.
- Open it. Tap the gear, then Connections, then the plus sign.
- Paste the address below into URL.
- Paste the name below into Stream name. Save.

Test 1
Camera test (fish tank)
- Point the phone at the fish tank, one arm's length away. Whole tank in the picture.
- No faces, no names.
- Tap the red round button to start.
- Leave it 5 minutes. Do not lock the screen.
- Tap stop. Tell us "camera test done" and the time you started.
Test 2
Screen test (laptop)
- On the laptop, open whatever is on the screen during service. Slides are perfect.
- In Larix, tap the screen icon, choose Screen, then Start.
- Leave it 5 minutes. Move one slide so we see the change.
- Tap stop. Tell us "screen test done" and the time you started.
If the app has no screen option, use OBS Studio on the laptop instead. Same address, same name, add a Screen Capture source, press Start Streaming.
If something goes wrong
Red words on screen
- Take a screenshot.
- Send it with the time.
- Try once more. If it fails again, stop and tell us.
Do not change the address or the name. Do not change video settings.
